Install a special theme for Google Chrome

Step 1: Launch Google Chrome.

Step 2: Right-click the Windows Start button and select Open Windows Explorer. Open the Downloads folder where the design is saved when you download it. Special themes are saved with the .crx file extension.

Step 3: Drag and drop custom design files into your browser window.

In the Confirm New Theme dialog box, click Add.

If you have trouble finding the downloaded theme, check the default Chrome extension folder, which is usually C: \ Users \ AppData \ Local \ Google \ Chrome \ User Data \ Default \ Extensions.

Any topics offered by sources other than the official Google Chrome Web Store carry the risk of dangerous code or other unwanted complications. It’s better to download the CRX file manually and scan it with security software before you apply it to your Chrome browser. If you have enough knowledge, you can use the code to determine whether something is included in the code.
